I am a current student at The City College of New York and a prospective Pre-Medical student, who is looking to broaden my education and experience by engaging in and completing challenging assignments and courses.  As a requirement I had to take FIQWS, which is a Freshman Inquiry Writing Seminar.  Throughout the course, I was able to develop my abilities such as editing and revising, while I narrowed down my specific strengths and weaknesses. In addition, throughout activities conducted in class such as peer editing, I was able to receive numerous amounts of feedback from both the Professor and peers, while also providing constructive criticism on others work.  By completing assignments, I was able to achieve many Course Learning Outcomes given to us at the beginning of the year.  In the future, I look forward to using the skills and knowledge I acquired throughout the course to aid me in developing research and scientific papers, in the field I enter.
